Democratizing private equity investing – how OurCrowd is changing the paradigm- Jay Kalish

Prior to OurCrowd, individual investors could only invest in earlier stage companies by investing directly into venture capital funds. This meant that investors had to invest $1M or more to join this fraternity, but did not have the ability to choose the companies in which they wanted to invest. OurCrowd has opened up the Israeli startup ecosystem to the individual investors who are seeking to build their own private equity portfolio in addition to their public equity portfolio.
